Is my case eligible for expungement?
We can help you if you meet all of the following:
- You do not have any pending charges or outstanding warrants;
- You are not on parole or have completed at least half of your probation term; and
- You have your California State Department of Justice (DOJ) RAP sheets, Local Criminal History, and/or case numbers from the Superior Court.
- Eligible offenses include misdemeanor and felony convictions which resulted in jail time and/or probation, NOT prison time or parole.
What do I need to bring?
Before attending the Clean Slate Clinic, please be sure to bring the following documents:
- A picture ID
- Your Department of Justice rap sheet or criminal history record.
- Evidence of repayment of fines, fees, or restitution if you have them.
- Evidence of your involvement in the community. For example, enrollment in school, rehabilitation programs, or work study, volunteerism, attendance at a religious or social organization, etc.
